Back in the Saddle
19/10/09 20:29
It's almost a year since Alastair was
born. Ten months yesterday!
He was a complete surprise and a total blessing.
Mandy was pushing 40 as she delivered him.
Not a young mom and one who had suffered severe prenatal and postpartum depression with her first child.
Everything had gone on hold for this blessed event, including the publishing of her book, Rebuild From Depression.
In the book she documents all she learned in researching the cause of the depression problem. She used the advice she gives in the book.
The last nineteen months have been spent giving support and observing that the the diet and supplement changes she made really paid off. Voila! Alastair! And not just this darling little guy, but a mom who is well enough
to enjoy him
AND pursue her home-based business
and home school seven-year-old Frederick.
Alleluia!
Yes, praise God who daily loads us with benefits!
One of the benefits of today is realizing that it is now time for me to get back to the business of passing on what is so vitally important to a powerful Christian life: praying Scripture.
It's been so long since I've worked on this website and anything technical, for that matter, I've had to spend the day reading tutorials to brush up. I understand this is not unusual, so I feel no intimidation, just a bit foolish for letting things lapse for so long.
So here goes: a public statement that I have risen from the ashes of techno inertia and am back at it! Stay tuned for Scripture prayer based on Psalms.
