Daily Prayer: to the FATHER, SON & HOLY
SPIRIT
Chris Gonzales is one of the most faithful people of prayer
I know. He has for a number of decades now prayed Scripture
in a focused and disciplined manner. Be blessed what by he
shares with us:
“Jeanie, I pray this prayer every day and find it
helpful to keep me focused on the fact the Holy Spirit in
me is the one passing out the FRUIT when I keep my flesh
out of the way. Jesus said we should pray (In the
Lord’s Prayer-Our Father) to be lead away from
temptation and delivered from evil, James says every good
and perfect gift comes from God and there are other
scriptures also.”
Prayer:
FATHER you
are the creator and ruler over everything that exists,
every good and perfect gift comes from you. I thank
you for the gift of eternal life purchased with your own
blood, provided through the perfect sacrifice of your only
son Jesus, and for the gift of Your Holy Spirit. I
ask for the continuing filling of Your Holy Spirit and for
you to protect and guide me this day by the power of your
Spirit, and lead me away from temptation harmful to my
relationship with You.
Thank you JESUS for shedding your precious blood and dying
on the cross to purchase for me the gift of eternal life,
and your perfect sacrifice which provides constant
intercession so I can go before the throne of grace to
receive mercy and forgiveness in time of need. Help
me to be quick to recognize and confess my sins and thank
you for making a way for the Holy Spirit to become part of
my life.
I thank you Father for the fullness of your Holy Spirit and
I thank you Holy Spirit for your part in Creation and the
birth of Jesus. I ask you HOLY SPIRIT to organize my
day, deliver me from evil, and teach me to renew my mind
and use what I learn from you today to bear the fruit of
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness,
faithfulness and self control. In Faith I believe you
bring blessings into my life and equip me for the good
works established for me to fulfill by Grace.
Father I ask you for these requests, and thank you and
praise you in Jesus’ name.
