Prayer for Those Using Daybreak
Resources
Many people who
subscribe to Release the Power of Psalm 91 or who purchase

for the Journey,
write to ask
me to pray for them. I pray for each as I receive the
requests. But, I pray for all who are working with
Daybreak Resource materials and tools.
This is a prayer I most frequently pray. It comes
from
Blessing Your
Spirit by Arthur
Burk and Sylvia Gunter. Hardly a day goes by that I miss
praying from this book. It helps to sharpen my prayer
focus in the morning. And, it helps to get me back on
track any time of the day when I feel that my prayer is
generic or empty.
Prayer
Day
38 Colossians 1:9-13
Dear
friends, I call your spirits to attention. Listen with your
spirits to the Word of God. Colossians 1:9 “For this
reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not
stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the
knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and
understanding.”
I bless you with spiritual wisdom, with being filled with
complete understanding of God’s will and His ways in
relation to your life. I bless you with asking the right
questions and discerning His voice in your spirit and
hearing no competing voices but His. I bless you with
spiritual blessings of revelation of the Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit.
Dear Ones, listen with your spirits to Colossians 1:10
“And we pray this in order that you may live a life
worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way; bearing
fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of
God…”
I bless you with living worthy of the Lord, honoring and
pleasing your Father always by the way you live.
I bless you with heavenly desires to do good continually,
doing kind things for others out of the wellspring of a
full and whole spirit. You were created in Christ Jesus for
particular purposes, which God prepared in advance for you.
Your Savior, the True Vine, says to you, “Remain in
me, and I will remain in you. No Branch can bear fruit by
itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear
fruit unless you remain in me. This is to my Father’s
glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be
my disciples. I chose you and appointed you to go and bear
fruit: fruit that remains” (John 15:4,8,16).
I bless you with enlarging and increasing your experience
of the magnificence of your Father.
I bless you with growing in knowing God intimately, His
person and His character, joining intimacy and revelation
like the disciples on the road to Emmaus whose hearts
burned within them as Jesus opened the words of God to
them.
Dear Hearts, listen with your spirits to Colossians 1:11
“…being strengthened with all power according
to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance
and patience, and joyfully…”
I bless you with being strengthened with His glorious
power, so that you will have all the patience and endurance
you need with joy.
I bless you with three-fold staying power in time of
distress – strength, power and might from Him, by His
glory and for His glory.
I bless you with withstanding all your fears in the Spirit
of Power, and love, and a sound mind.
I bless you with knowing your God deeply so that you will
be strong and do great exploits.
I bless you with being a living demonstration of new
manifestations of God’s ability and wisdom and power.
I bless you inexpressible joy imparted by the Holy Spirit,
not depending on circumstances.
I bless you with positively investing in this season of
preparation for whatever God is preparing and enduring with
joy, no knowing what God is up to.
I bless you with aggressively paying the price daily to do
the daily spiritual exercises required.
I bless you with not reasoning away or backing out of the
call of God on your life
I bless you with great forward-looking vision to withstand
present pressure of birthing pains for the joy set before
you.
Dear Ones, listen with your spirits to Colossians 1:12-13
“…giving thanks to the Father, who has
qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in
the Kingdom of Light. For He has rescued us from the
dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the
Son He loves…”
I bless you with deep gratitude flowing in your spirits,
thanking your Father for allowing you to inherit all
covenant blessings that belong to God’s holy people,
who live in His kingdom of light. I bless you with knowing
the hope of His calling and what a rich and glorious
inheritance He has in His saints.
I bless you with sharing in and with a family of faith who
lives in the light with clear and vulnerable relationships.
I bless your spirits with being flooded with light so that
you can understand the wonderful future He has promised
you.
I bless you with knowing your dominion over all the power
of darkness.
I bless you with the eyes of your heart being enlightened
to know your Father’s incredibly great power for you,
the same working of His mighty strength that raised Christ
from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the
heavenly realms.
I bless you with knowing with certainty that He is far
above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every
title that can be given in this present age. Dear friends,
you are blessed that God has put all things under the
authority of Christ and appointed Him to be head over
everything for the church., which is His body. You are
blessed in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, who fills
everything everywhere with His presence.
Amen.
