This prayer is submitted by Teresa Neyman. Or, more accurately, I should say I asked her if I could share it for her on the website.

Teresa was enrolled in the free e-course, Release the Power of Psalm 91. She sent me this prayer as a thank you and a blessing. Teresa said that she had prayed Scripture in years past, but gotten away from the practice. Now she is back!

This prayer is taken from Paul's prayers in Ephesians and Colossians, so there is some repetition. But, the repetition only serves to strengthen the points that Paul was making in these prayers.

Also, the translation Teresa used is the Jewish Bible, so some of the wording is different than you might find in your own Bible. The difference can make some points stand out that wouldn't otherwise. Using different vocabulary can help clear the brain-fog of familiarity, so welcome the change!

Copy and print this prayer for use as a powerful proclamation over your own life! Come into agreement with what Paul has already prayed in Scripture and proclaim that agreement boldly into the spirit realm. Prayer
Praised be ADONAI, Father of my Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
who in the Messiah has blessed me with every spiritual blessing in Heaven;
for in the Messiah you chose me in love before the creation of the universe
to be holy and without defect in Your presence; and determined in advance
that through Yeshua, the Messiah, I would be your daughter
in keeping with Your pleasure and purpose...
so that I would bring You praise in union with the glory
of the grace You gave me through the Beloved One.
In union with You through the shedding of Your blood, I am set free...
my sins are forgiven;
this in accord with the wealth of the grace You have lavished on me.
In all wisdom and insight You have made known to me Your secret plan,
which, by Your own will, You designed beforehand in connection with the Messiah
and will put into effect when the time was ripe...
Your plan to place everything in Heaven and on earth under the Messiah's headship.

For this reason, I have not stopped giving thanks to You.
In my prayers I keep asking You,
God of my Lord Yeshua the Messiah, my glorious Father,
to give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation,
so that I will have full knowledge of You.
I pray that You will give light to the eyes of my heart,
so that I will understand the hope to which You have called me,
what rich glories there are in the inheritance You have
promised Your people,
and how surpassingly great is Your power working in me as I trust You.
It works with the same mighty strength You used
when You worked in the Messiah to raise Him from the dead
and sat Him at Your right hand in Heaven,
far above every ruler, authority, power, dominion or any other name
that can be named either in the 'olam hazeh or in the 'olam haba.
Also, You have put all things under His feet and made
Him head over everything for the Messianic Community, which is His body,
the full expression of Him who fills all creation.
In union with You, through Your faithfulness,
I have boldness and confidence when I approach You, lord,
and I pray that from the treasures of Your glory
You will empower me with inner strength by Your Spirit,
so that the Messiah may live in my heart through trusting.
Also, I pray that I will be rooted and founded in love,
so that with all Your people, I will be given strength to grasp
the breadth, length, height and depth of the Messiah's love,
yes to know it even though it is beyond all knowing,
so that I will be filled with all the fullness of You;
Now to You; who by Your power working in me is able to do
far beyond anything I can ask or imagine,
to You be glory in the Messianic Community and in the Messiah Yeshua
from generation to generation forever.

Therefore, from the day I heard of it, I will not stop
praying, asking You, God, to fill me with the knowledge
of Your will in all the wisdom and understanding which the Spirit gives;
so that I may live a life worthy of You, Lord,
and be entirely pleasing to You; being fruitful in every good work
and multiplying in the full knowledge of You;
I pray that You will continually strengthen me with
all the power that comes from Your glorious might;
so that I will be able to persevere and be patient in any situation,
joyfully giving thanks to You, Father, for having made
me fit to share in the inheritance of Your people in
the light. You have rescued me from the domain of darkness
and transferred me into the Kingdom of Your dear Son.
It is through Your Son that I have redemption - that is,
my sins have been forgiven, for You have now reconciled me in
Your Son's physical body through His death, in order to
present me holy and without defect or reproach before you.
And in my trusting, I remain grounded and steady, and won't
let my self be moved away from the hope offered in the Good
News I have heard. To me You wanted to make known how great
among the Gentiles is the glorious richness of this secret.
And the secret is this: the Messiah is united with me!
In that rests my hope of glory! Amen
